This character was created based on a sci-fi story calles: "Titanium Mike saves the day", by David E. Levine. Titanium Mike is the hero of space workers in future mythology.

That is so cool! He really looks like a Paul Bunyan or Pecos Bill kind of character. This is like an illustration from a children's book about Titanium Mike from the world of the story.
