This little illo is from a book I'm currently working on. The penguins are looking at some coins they've discovered on the beach: "What the hell are those yellow round things? Can we eat them???"
Cute style! reminds me of the Aesop's fable of "The Rooster and the Jewel". Moral: Fortune very generously bestows golden opportunity on many, but they have not learned the best way to take advantage of it.
Lovely illo, very expressive penguins, faces and body language. I love illustrations that keep and use the white of the paper, the simplicity and their placement tell it all.

Since they are used to being in snow and ice, I'd give them this advice: Don't eat the yellow snow! :) Cute illo.
Oh! noooo don't eat it, lovely penguins!
